Pure Encapsulations® Educational Webinar | Gene-Nutrient Interactions and Mental Health

September 22, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Free

Summary

This webinar will cover critical genes including MTHFR and COMT that impact resilience and mental wellbeing.

COMT is an enzyme required to break down catecholamines including dopamine, noradrenaline, and adrenalin. Functional polymorphisms within MTHFR and COMT are associated with altered stress response and risk for mental health disorders. In addition, nutritional intake that supports MTHFR and COMT activity will be explored to compensate for inherited susceptibility and support mental well-being.

OPEN TO ALL HEALTHCARE PRACTITIONERS!

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the function of MTHFR and COMT about stress response and mental health.
  • How to identify common functional genetic variations that impact neurotransmitters and mental health.
  • Learn about essential nutrients to support COMT pathways, healthy neurotransmitter metabolism, and mood balance.
